Betty Sue Heston, born October 22, 1929, daughter of Guy Albert and Neva Aurellia (Jones) Heston. Betty grew up in Woodburn and later lived in Osceola. She worked for Robinson’s in Osceola as a sales clerk for seven years after graduation. In June, 1953, she went to work at Lewis Chevrolet as office manager, and continued to work for the company when it was purchased by Lloyd Querrey in 1969. This career lasted 41-1/2 years, until her retirement in December, 1994. Betty was an ardent supporter of Woodburn. Betty was a member of the Woodburn Christian Church, taught the adult Sunday School class there for years, and was church Secretary-Treasurer. She was a member of the Booster Board and on the St. Mary’s Catholic Church preservation committee. Betty was active in Woodburn activities, such as Woodburn Homecoming and the various activities of the church and Booster Club. Betty died on October 15, 2010, and is buried in the Woodburn Cemetery.

Keith Owen Heston was born June 25, 1939, the son of Lloyd Owen and Ruth (Marquis) Heston. His mother died soon after his birth and his grandparents, Roy and Elsie Heston helped Lloyd raise him. His father helped Roy with the farm north of Ottawa and raised horses. After his grandfather’s death in 1953 and his father’s death in 1955, Elsie raised Keith. Keith married Janice Kay Israel on September 18, 1960. Janice was born August 3, 1941, the daughter of Glenn and LaVina Israel of Lucas. Keith and Janice farm north of Ottawa. Their children: Lloyd Ronald, Mark Owen and John Israel
