Phyllis (Davis), Bob, Barry, Randy "Dude", Jim "Curly"

         Robert Lincoln “Bob” Wright was born October 5, 1925, in Osceola, the son of Alec and Winifred (Stubbs) Wright.  Bob served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.  He married Phyllis Elaine Davis on January 29, 1950, at Osceola.  Phyllis was born March 4, 1929, near Woodburn, the daughter of Loren and Viola (Heston) Davis.  Bob was a strong supporter of Woodburn and was on the council and served as Mayor for many years.  He was active in Veterans Affairs and the American Legion.  Bob farmed after their marriage and worked at Myer’s Ford garage in Osceola.  He then owned Wright Feed and Fertilizer in the 1970’s.  He was later was a realtor with Westgate and then part owner of Ace Realty. 
        Phyllis graduated from Woodburn High School in 1946 and worked at Robinson’s in Osceola for three years.  She then worked at the Woodburn post office starting in 1963, and was appointed postmaster at Woodburn in 1973 and worked there until September, 1990. 
       Bob passed away on May 2, 1993, and is buried at the Woodburn Cemetery.  Phyllis lived at their home in Woodburn until the last few years of her life, when she made her home with Ronda Nerness.   Phyllis passed away on December 6, 2010. 



         Kenneth Eugene “Gene” or “Fat” Wright,  born June 5, 1927, the son of James Kenneth "Colonel" and Mildred Mae (Miller) Wright.  He married Mary Darlene Johnson on July 31, 1947.  Gene ran a station in Woodburn, did mechanical work, and farmed.  Darlene worked for Osceola Farm and Home.  Darlene died in 1994 and Kenneth died on December 7, 1995.  They are buried at the Woodburn Cemetery.  Their children:  Kenneth Alan and Ricky Joe.
