Paul and Georgia (Westbrook) VanWinkle - and with son, Ron

        Paul Allen VanWinkle was born on May 27, 1915, in Lucas County, Iowa, the son of George and Agnes (Putz) VanWinkle.  He married Georgia Vivian Westbrook on March 16, 1940.  She was the daughter of George T. and Iva Castilla (Waugh) Westbrook.  She was born August, 1915.  Georgia moved with her family to Osceola in her freshman year of high school.  She taught school for nine years in Clarke County, six in Jackson Township.  They farmed for 32 years in Jackson Township until retirement.  Paul died on August 21, 1976, at Des Moines, and is buried at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Osceola.  Their son:  Ronald Allen.
