Frank Anthony Pontier was born May 10, 1929, in Carlisle, Iowa, the son of Arthur and Aglae Pontier.    He married Willodean Harrison, daughter of Yewell and Dernice Harrison.   Willodean was born on November 3, 1932, in Clay County, Alabama.  

            Frank and Willodean moved to the farm west of Woodburn in 1955, where they still live.   Frank is a farmer and Willodean has worked at the Clarke County Hospital in housekeeping since 1980.   They are members of  St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Osceola, Iowa.    All of their children attended Woodburn grade school, except for Jeff.   They all graduated from Clarke Community High School.   Their children:  Sherry Marie [Norelius], Sharon Diane [Dirkx], Anthony Lynn "Tony", Timothy Frank "Tim", Sheila Anne [Adams], and Jeffrey Joseph "Jeff".
